The power of Japa

Mantra is the most powerful technology I’ve discovered to master the mind. It is a deep, profound tool. A technology to bring the mind into transcendence, to release samskaras and kleshas (karmas, bits of ignorance, bio-cellular trauma) and to teach one how to master the mind.

Japa meditation has WOW. Honestly… changed my life and blown my mind open. I was first introduced to it about 10 years ago, but I never really practiced it until the last few years.

Japa meditation is the technique of using your mala beads (as seen in the photo) to meditate. Essentially, you choose a mantra, and chant the mantra repetitively as you move your fingers across each bead to create 108 rounds (the amount of beads on your mala necklace).

It seems simple (it is). But the truth is your experience will be extremely complex.

I’ve had experiences of deep transcendence - moments where it feels like 5 minutes and I open my eyes to hours having passed by.

I’ve gotten great insights and visions during my practice.

I’ve had deep memories & realizations surface.

It brings deep peace and relaxation. And yet, sometimes it’s not pleasant! There are certain mantra’s I’ve worked with that are used specifically to extract karma & samskara’s (bits of ignorance) from your system and it can feel yucky and weird. But after, you feel like a new person.

It’s hard to explain its power with words. It’s truly only something that can be experienced yourself.

About Japa:

Japa Mala is a string of beads used to focus awareness and concentration during yogic practices such as pranayam or mantra meditation. You have probably seen people wearing them for fashion, but what many people don't know is the deep science and ancient wisdom behind the use of the beads.

While they're beautiful and aesthetically pleasing, the Mala's have been used for thousands of years, dating back to the RigVeda - one of the oldest texts on Earth, where the root of Yoga comes from.

In Japa meditation technique we are working with mantra's to manifest certain desires, cultivate stillness in the mind, and to cultivate a specific energy in your life depending on which mantra you choose to work with.

About Mantra:

Mantra is the power of creation. All of creation starts with sound. Thought, which reverberates out into the universe. Your words reverberate out into the universe. The power of your word should not be underestimated. Master the power of your mind and your word, and you master manifestation and creation.

You are powerful beyond measure. When we really know this, and we master our minds, our thoughts, and thereafter our words... is when we become master creators of our lives.

Mantra is the ultimate technology to do this. And having a Japa practice is the perfect vehicle to cultivate mantra into your daily life.
